Leo

One day when one of our team members was leaving Target, she spotted an orange cat with crumpled ears grooming himself on top of a car outside of a tire shop. She pulled over and offered him food, but he wouldn’t come close. As she went around to the back of the building, she discovered a colony of 40+ cats. We have trapped about 75% of the colony since then, with about half being adoptable and the other half being returned after their spay/neuter recoveries. After many failed attempts, we finally caught Leo (the cat who started it all!) and learned that he was very friendly once he warmed up. He had such an incredible transformation and captured hearts around the world.
