Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from our rescue! We can’t wait to find you the perfect match.

We aim to make the adoption process as simple as possible so you don’t have to jump through hoops to save a life! Please read the following information before applying to make sure our rescue is the right fit for you.

• Adopters must be 18 years of age

• We adopt within 6 hours driving distance of Milwaukee, WI, but do prioritize applicants who live closeby. Occasionally, we will open applications nationwide in special cases and that will be marked in the animal’s profile.

• Please be certain you are ready to adopt when filling out the application out of consideration for our small, volunteer-run team.

• Kittens are social creatures and do best with a friend! For kittens under 9 months old, you must either adopt a pair -OR- have a social resident cat at home if adopting just one unless otherwise noted. 

• All animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and will go home with a bag of the food they have been eating.

• Kittens/cats over 6 months are tested for FeLV/FIV

• Puppies/dogs over 6 months are tested for Heartworm

• Some large breed puppies may be sent home with a spay/neuter contract, which means they will be fixed at a later date -- scheduled and paid for by the rescue
