Betty

Age: 15 years
Sex: Female
Good With: Respectful, calm cats and dogs.
Adoption Fee: Sponsored!
Meet Betty! This senior gal was brought to MADACC in critical condition, weighing just 3.2 lbs. They were expecting to have to euthanize her at the end of stray hold, but she shocked everyone by gaining almost a pound and so much strength back! The shelter reached out to us, and we agreed to take her.
We absolutely adore this sweet girl — she has SO much love to give and loves every person she meets. As you can guess, we don’t think she has a ton of time left, but her bloodwork looks great and she went under anesthesia for a dental with absolutely no issues. She does have typical age-related conditions like poor kidney values and a heart murmur, but she is honestly thriving despite that.
There has to be a home out there for our sweet Betty, we just know it! She deserves to have the best golden years and live out her days in her forever home. Betty tolerates other calm, respectful cats and dogs, but they aren’t her favorite. She coexists with them just fine, but will give them a firm “no thanks” if they encroach upon her space. We think she would also be okay with older, calm kids, but would greatly prefer a quiet home.
If you are interested in giving Betty the home she longs for, please apply to adopt her today!
